Jill Shalvis second book in the series of Lucky Harbor Novels is just as the titles say it is The Sweetest Thing.
Tara Daniels is back in Lucky Harbor and is focusing on opening the bed and breakfast with her sisters. Seventeen years ago she left town but has never forgotten the baby she gave up for adoption.
She has been divorced from her Nascar driver husband, Logan Perrish, for two years now; and she has finally managed to move on from the life she lived as a driver's wife. Huh, but Logan has decided he wants Tara back for she was the best thing that ever happen to him. The problem is that Tara is not that woman anymore and what will it take for Logan to let go and move on?
Ford Walker is her former boyfriend from seventeen years ago and he can still make her feel things that she thought were long gone. Will Ford be able to understand and accept that giving up their child was the best thing for the both of them at seventeen they were not ready to be parents? Will Tara also be able to get through her own issues to let Ford close enough to find out that they still have much to give each other?
There is no dissatisfaction in The Sweetest Thing. Not only are two men fighting over one woman a part of Tara’s past arrives in town. I cannot wait to read about the last sister, Chloe and just how these three half sisters will realize they need each other in their lives as well as the men they fall in love with.
