Tammy Jo Trask just wants life to get back to normal...well, as normal as it gets in Duvall, Texas. She also wants to get serious about learning all she can about her magic. After all she has endured, what else could possibly go wrong? Since it is Tammy Jo weíre talking about; everything!

Tammyís normal day begins with a kidnapping, but she is one tough cookie [pun intended] and manages to free herself. The police donít believe her story and do nothing, which leaves Tammy vulnerable to more kidnappings! It is just one catastrophe after another once the local church women decide to rid Duvall of witchcraft. Between escapes even Houdini would be proud of Tammy has to find out the meaning behind a mysterious package she receives in the mail. No names were given but there was a note to keep the piece of jewelry safe. Although Tammy is not allowed to team up with Bryn she has no other choice but to break the rules again. Since the leaders of WAM - the World Association of Magic - are in town to investigate them Bryn and Tammy have to keep their involvement a secret. Unfortunately, one of the members of the conclave is a former lover of Brynís and she wants him back. The odds are increasing against Tammy Jo. Will she be able to stay out of the clutches of the conclave and the citizens with a mission long enough to save Duvall once again? What will Tammy choose to do after she finds the answers Bryn has been searching for years to find out? How can Tammy reveal what she knows if it might put her and her family in jeopardy?

As always author Kimberly Frost seizes the readerís attention within the first paragraph of the return of fan favorite Tammy Jo Trask in Halfway Hexed, book three of the Southern Witch series. Ms. Frostís exciting delivery of answers to readersí questions about the series creates a craving for more of Tammy Jo.

Halfway Hexed picks up where Barely Bewitched ended. That being the case, I recommend reading the previous books in the Southern Witch series. The pacing is set to hysterical so fasten your seat-belts; itís going to be a wild ride!
