Maggie Graham is the acting alpha of the Crescent Valley, Alaska pack. Usually the alpha is a male, but her brother Cooper didnít want the job. Every werewolf around will admit that Maggie is tough enough to take on the responsibility. Maggie takes pride in her initiative. She works hard and she deserves to be alpha. As such it is her duty to take another werewolf as a mate. This is not as easy as it sounds since she is related to so many of them. Maggie will have to go outside the pack to find her mate. Unlike her brother who married a human woman.

Everything is going along fine until a man arrives in Grundy, Alaska asking questions that can get him killed. Nick Thatcher, zoological anthropologist, believes in the existence of werewolves. His research has brought him to Crescent Valley and Grundy where he hopes to learn how the werewolves came to be and how they live. Itís up to acting alpha Maggie to run him off. As much as sheíd love to go all mafia on him, she has to make do with pretending he is crazy. Nothing to see here. Go home. If only it were that easy.

Someone doesnít want Maggie to be the alpha and makes an attempt on her life. Unfortunately, Nick is with her when the brake lines on her truck are cut and she crashes: Both of them are injured. When werewolves are hurt they will take wolf form in order to heal faster. Unconscious and unable to stop the shift, Maggie becomes a wolf. Now there is no getting rid of Nick.

Nick wants to help Maggie find out who is behind the attempts on her life no matter how hard she tries to push him away. He loves that she is a werewolf. After he swears he will not reveal the pack, Maggie grudgingly allows Nick to do his research. Though Nick is a nice guy and he seems to be good for her, Maggie hasnít forgotten her responsibility to the pack. So, what happens after Maggie accidentally mates herself to Nick?

The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf is the second book in Molly Harperís new Alaskan Werewolf series. I didnít like Maggie in How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf and I carried that with me to this story. I didnít warm up to her until the last half of the book. Nick, however, is Maggieís opposite: He balances her out and calms her down.

This series is well-written, fast paced and the love scenes practically burn the pages. While The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf can be read alone, I recommend reading the books in order. They are too much fun to miss!
