Between a broken engagement and hippie parents who do not know the meaning of boundaries, Mo Duvall-Wenstein makes the decision to run away without telling anyone where she is going. From Mississippi to Alaska there should be enough miles to have her own life. The little town of Grundy, Alaska is not exactly what she was led to believe, but it suits her needs. Mo is quick to make friends and earns herself a job almost immediately. There is only one person with whom she has trouble: Cooper Graham, brooding lone wolf extraordinaire. Mo is told he doesn’t like the get-back-to-nature outsiders who are always making their way through Grundy. That’s fine with Mo; he can stay on his side of town and she can stay on her side lusting from afar.
Mo is awakened one night by sounds coming from her front yard. She looks out to see a wolf taking down an elk. There is something about the wolf’s unusual eyes that catches her attention. Later Mo is accosted outside the diner where she works and that same wolf comes to her aid. She sees Cooper in the wolf’s eyes. It is after the attack that Mo begins to suspect that Cooper is the wolf. Even so, it is hard to wrap her mind around the werewolf concept. More difficult to deny, however, when Cooper shows up on her doorstep wearing nothing but a bear trap.
Cooper should be alpha of his pack but because of an incident which happened in the past, he is in self-imposed exile. When people start getting killed by a wolf in Grundy, Cooper is afraid he is the wolf responsible. He can’t remember what he does when he is in wolf form. The only thing he knows to do that will keep Mo and the townspeople safe is to leave.
What if Cooper is not the wolf killing people? By him leaving, Mo is vulnerable to the real killer.
How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf is as funny as the title leads us to believe. Mo is a sassy spitfire who is more than able to take on a werewolf like Cooper. While Cooper is not the average alpha were-hero, he definitely knows how to handle Mo. These two were made for each other.
