"Handsome and sensual, surrounded by the aura of danger, mystery and the forbidden, a lover steps from the shadows. But is he mortal? Or is he an ancient god, a sorcerer, or a mythical beast who can possess a woman’s heart…and her very soul?

Four of romance’s most popular authors have created this spellbinding collection of stories filled with dark passion and desire. Under the cover of darkness, their heroes inhabit worlds haunted by ageless hungers and deadly forces stronger than any seen by day…and vanquished only by the power of love.

Now travel into the realms where dazzling wonders roam the night, where magic replaces reason and where a kiss unleashes a raging fire in the blood. And here, if you dare, discover the seduction that begins at the bewitching hour when a man and woman partake in…Midnight Pleasures."

If the above sounds familiar to you it should as the above three paragraphs are the back cover blurb for Midnight Pleasures. After many attempts to describe these stories and not give too much away I decided perhaps it best that I just entice you with the blurb and then just tell you my reaction to the book.

I found Midnight Pleasures to be a delightful quartet of stories that lets each author shine in her own right. The stories are all well thought out and give the reader what they expect - a dark tortured hero who finds the one woman who can capture his heart and help him discover true love.

I think each reader will have a different favorite among the four stories. I comment on this only because my favorite was not the story I expected it to be. Of the four authors I have read all but Ronda Thompson and her story A Wulf’s Curse ended up being my favorite of the four. Since Ronda is the least known author of this talented quartet I felt it was important to mention this in my review. Her story for me just had that little extra something special that made it stand out. With her offering here she proves she can compete among the big names in paranormal romance. I would love to read about the hero Sterling’s brothers in future offerings from Ms Thompson and hope she plans to pen those stories in the future.

If you are a fan of vampires, witches, wizards and werewolves (Oh My!) be sure to pick up a copy of Midnight Pleasures. It is a true treat for the reader from Amanda, Maggie, Sherrilyn and Ronda, four of the most talented paranormal writers today.
