The King of Scotland has ordered that the feuding clans, MacDonalds, Camerons, and the Mackintoshes battle it out for the Glen of Many Legends. All three get ready to engage in combat for this hallowed ground.
James Cameron, “the Devil”, is trying to focus on the battle at hand, but his mind keeps straying to the proud Highland beauty, Catriona MacDonald. He is the chief of his clan; therefore, he cannot let the passion that burns in his loins for the opposing clan beauty to dictate his decisions.
Catriona MacDonald cannot forget her encounters with clan Cameron’s “Devil”. She is entranced by his touch and longs to be in his arms, but he is the chieftain of a clan they are feuding. And if she remembers history correctly, fate has always worked against lovers of feuding families with disastrous results.
James and Catriona share a passion like no other, but his duty to the Camerons and her pride for the MacDonalds could cause a rip in the strand that destiny has fated for them.
Sins of a Highland Devil is a richly enjoyable story. Welfonder is a master story teller. She weaves a story about the magic of the Scottish highlands. I enjoyed how she describes the characters as having a common thread of destiny. This story is very descriptive. It gets a little wordy at times, but when you get to the meat of the story you are sure to be satisfied.
