Charis is utterly ruined. She was found in a very compromising situation with her young lover three years ago, and has not been able to live it down since. Charis has been exiled to the country for the past three years and something unexpected happens. Some “lackwit” actually wants to marry her. What a laugh!!! He must be horribly desperate, old, or disgusting to marry a ruined woman.

Sinjun Randall has finally been convinced he needs to marry, again. The death of his first wife was sad but not overly earth-shattering; therefore marriage was just a small inconvenience that needed to be done. While on his way to see is less than enthusiastic bride, he happens upon a maiden who seems to be hell bent on being left alone to walk the country. Upon talking to her, he finds out this fiery young woman is his bride to be. However, she has no idea who he is. This is where the fun begins.

Compromising Charis is a short, fun read. Charis is passionate and strong-willed, whereas Sinjun is easy-going and sensual. The play between these two characters is enjoyable to watch unfold. The love scenes are surprisingly thorough for such a short read, but you will enjoy every morsel of this tantalizing tale.
