Mick O'Brien finally has his former wife, Megan, back in his life, and nothing is going to stop their second wedding. He is prepared to do whatever it takes to claim the love of his life. The successful architect has made a lot of changes over the years, to show her that the workaholic man she married has reformed, but the one thing he cannot seem to stop is meddling.
Megan has always loved Mick, but she also sees all his faults. While the tiger's stripes may have faded, they certainly have not disappeared. He still has to keep tabs on everyone and everything. He still tends to bulldoze through problems. Megan wants to be his partner, not the little lady he helps across the street. Their children, now grown, have to be on board with this remarriage or it will never work.
Welcome back to Chesapeake Shores, where the O'Brien family keeps townspeople entertained and sometimes exasperated. Not everyone is happy to see the O'Brien patriarch reconciled with his former wife. Not even his own children. Megan has worked hard to regain the respect of her children, but Connor remains the lone holdout. His parent's divorce and his career as a divorce lawyer has convinced him that marriage is the problem. He has no faith in the institution, or belief that his parents will be happy.
Author Sherryl Woods brings back all the boisterous O'Brien clan for this transitional novel in the series. A Chesapeake Shores Christmas serves to move the Mick-Megan storyline forward while preparing the way for the final trilogy in Spring 2011.
