Isobel Fergusson trusts no one especially if their last name is MacGregor. She watched the Chieftain “Devil” MacGregor ruthlessly cut her beloved father to his death. He was seeking revenge on the death of his brother-in-law, Robert Campbell. Isobel and the lives of her five brothers have never been the same since that day. They have had to work the land alone, the tenants abandoned them and they have had to suffer raids from neighboring clans. Imagine her surprise when the dashing Tristan is revealed to be a MacGregor. With his good-looks, beguiling smile, and sexy swagger should could almost forget his last name. Almost.

Tristan MacGregor is a rogue. He knows it, his family knows it, and all the women he has bedded knows it. Every since the day his uncle died, he has turned his back on be noble and honorable. He has chosen the reckless path to which his family has not approved. Then he meets Isobel. She beautiful, clever, and has a tongue that will cut you to ribbons, but there more to this Lowland wildcat. She has a passion that burns just beneath the surface, and Tristan longs to drink of what bubbles within.

Tristan is on a journey to mend the ten year feud between the Fergussons and the MacGregors. He cannot do it without Isobel’s help. She is bent on hating him forever, but his knightly behavior slowly begins to chip at the ice that was formed around her heart at the death of her beloved father. Can love really over come the hate of the two families?

Seduced by a Highlander is an interesting read for several reasons. It allows the audience to define true family loyalty and the line between what is right and what is fair. Tristan and Isobel’s story is adventurous, funny, and heart-warming. The characters are fun and the action in the story will keep you turning pages until the end.
