Greetings readers. We have a live one. Will Jones, one of Londonís notorious Sons of Sin, is an ex-spy and former Bow Street Runner. He and his brother have been hot on the trail of finding their missing brother, Kit. While he is actively trying to unveil the conspiracy of pretending philanthropic civil servant, March, Will finds himself rescuing a virginal, young woman from a house of ill-repute. Living in her alias, as Helen of Troy, he finds she is on a mission of her own, and is willing to risk life and limb to achieve her means.

Will can tell Helen is gently bred, but he knows he has to help her before she gets herself raped, kid-napped or worse. Helen is desperately trying to retrieve letters that implicate her mother in a treasonous plot against the English government, but acquiring them is not so easy. Her normal, docile life is now teemed with homeless boys, underworld activity, and a hot ex-spy who is hell-bent on helping her achieve her goal. One more problem in a world where she can trust no one, she is starting to depend on him to help her. To further complicate things, she is falling in love with him.

To Save a Devil is a largely exciting read. There are spies, conspiracy, and adventure to keep you turning the pages. At times it gets wordy and you feel the need to skip a few passages, but for the most part you will feel like you are running down the dark alleys of London on a breathless adventure. This read will have you routing for the hapless victims who fall into the hands of the unscrupulous louts of the London underworld.
