The final book in Jill Shalvis’s Wilder brother series finally gives Harley Stephens and TJ Wilder the chance to fall passionately in love.
Harley Stephens has been hopelessly in love with TJ Wilder since she was in high school and they had an intimate encounter in TJ’s truck. Unfortunately, TJ has no recollection of this momentous, life-changing event. Harley has endeavored ever since to put as much distance between them as possible, but living in such a small town, that is not easy to do.
TJ does not quite understand why Harley seems to have a grudge against him but he wishes he could change her mind because he is very attracted to the maddening woman. When he discovers she is going out into the wilderness to observe and help a coyote pack, he offers his assistance. What happens out in the wild land of the Sierras will change them both, but will it finally bring them closer?
Jill Shalvis is one of the most amazing contemporary romance writers currently writing. This book showcases her talent for dialogue, for building sexual tension, and for creating a credible relationship between two characters that cannot see past their differences. Shalvis also writes amazing male characters which cannot be said for every romance writer. The Wilder brothers rag on each other, laugh, argue, and basically behave like brothers. It was great reading about their friendly sibling relationships.
And of course, Harley and TJ have a sizzling romance that holds this book together. Harley is a bit unsure of herself at book’s beginning but her growing confidence and trust in TJ is as romantic as the love scenes themselves.
Instant Temptation will grab you right away. This is a fitting end for this phenomenal trilogy. This book is all at once tempting, genuine, lovely and just a great read.
