Millicent Armstrong, aka Missy, is in her third season of the London marriage market, therefore, if she is not careful she will find herself, on the shelf. It is not that people have not been asking, she does not want them. There is only one man that has captured her heart since she was twelve years old, her brother’s best friend, James Rutherford. The problem is he is supposed to only think of her as a little sister, and her brother will have his head, both of them, if he touches her. Missy has been having not so sisterly thoughts about him, and what makes it worse, James runs from her every opportunity he gets.
James Rutherford has avoided Missy like the plague for years. Mostly because one day his baser instincts got the best of him and the kiss that they shared showed to him little Missy was HOT. Here is the problem, do the honorable thing and stay away or obey the call of his passion and surrender to the innocent siren and give her what she wants? James is afraid to admit there is something going on with him personally that is deeper than lust. Unfortunately, the only example of marriage and love was the estranged relationship between his parents.
Through a series of hot kisses, lies, and revelations, James and Missy have to figure out, is it all worth it to find there way to each other or should they follow their own paths into destiny?
Sinful Surrender is an enjoyable read. You will like all the twists and turns of the story. The characters’ logic sometimes borders on the ridiculous, but Kendall shows the stupidity of human nature, especially when all the facts have not been presented. This story is very interesting. It will keep you on your toes trying to figure out the resolution of the messes the characters find themselves in. This is a page turner you will love.
