Married By Morning is the long-awaited love story of Lord Ramsay and the governess, Catherine Marks. Finally the tension that has built up over the course of the series is about to burst in the best way possible.

Leo Hathaway, Lord Ramsey, has just discovered something that will change his life of privilege forever. If Leo does not marry and produce an heir within a year, the Hathaway family will be forced out of their family home. This is not happy news for anyone, but most of all Leo who has no desire to marry, ever. He gave his heart away once and love hurt him in ways he cannot contemplate ever again.

But there is just something about Catherine Marks that calls to Leo. She is bristly, elusive, and oh so lovely. He knows she is hiding a secret and he wants to help. But if Catherine gets involved with Leo, the life of peace she has tried to achieve could come crashing in around her.

Lisa Kleypas tugs at the heartstrings in Married by Morning. Leo and Catherine face a rough time ahead of them, despite the desire and attraction. Leo does not want to ever truly give his heart away again; Catherine cannot contemplate a future because she is constantly hiding from the past. It will take trust and strength for both of these characters to face their demons and move forward together.

While a forced marriage was not the way I saw these two coming together, at least it made their feelings more urgent and real. Lisa Kleypas is a master at the grand romance and this story has elements of it. Some of the plot threads did feel a bit contrived and artificial from what I knew of Catherine and Leo in previous books, but overall, I was just happy to see these two confront their feelings.

Married By Morning is another Kleypas gem. Fans will rejoice to see the love between Leo and Catherine. The tangible love between these characters is the strongest recommendation I can give for this book.
