Life for Lily and Rule has been exciting since magic is once again alive in the world of humans. Strangely enough that is the least of their worries at the present. With a wedding to plan and all of the stresses and joys it entails magic falls way down on the worry list. Nevertheless, wedding plans or not Lily and Rule are once again called upon. They are up against an adversary that no modern device can kill or capture.

Frankly, this being was once thought to be locked away far from the mortal realm. The creature is out for revenge and Lily and her family are the prime targets of a centuries old vengeance. And the only ones who can save them are Lily’s mysterious grandmother and the ancient dragon called Sam. It is going to take more than magic to save the mortal world from a being bent on revenge.

Blood Magic is a splendid addition to the World of the Lupi series. Without going into too much detail and spoiling your fun it is safe to tell you that many of our questions about Lily’s enigmatic grandmother are answered. You will have expected some of it but much of it will come as a welcome surprise. Eileen Wilks is always a pleasure to read because she combines the best elements of romance into her stories: emotional depth, compelling mystery, sensuality, and fluid pacing. It will be your pleasure to read any of the books in the series.
