Alexandra Riley has led a pretty normal life so far. She works with her father in his garage every day, buys coffee at the same place nearly every day on the way to work, passes the same people on the route to work. A predictable life but satisfying until the day a dark-haired stranger bursts into the garage moments ahead of deadly trouble and life-changing discoveries.
Finding out that she is the daughter of a legendary Alpha werewolf is shocking enough. Discovering that female weres are rare and she is on every eligible young weres mate list would make anyone freak. With Joshua Striker, Wolf Creek pack enforcer around all others pale in comparison.
For Joshua, who is charged with returning to his pack with Alex and her father, the distraction his growing feelings for Alex present is a danger to their journey and , potentially, to Alex’s future.
N. J. Walters starts off her new Legacy series with Alexandra’s Legacy. There are a lot of well choreographed fight scenes and plenty of sexual tension before the big deed but I wish there had been less of the world building inner monologues from the characters and more conversation. Mind you, with the main characters on the run for the majority of the book I can’t really expect too many heart to heart exchanges. Overall, Alexandra’s Legacy was an entertaining read that I would read again.
