When Kason Rhodes arrives home to his trailer, he is shocked to find he has acquired a house guest. Dayne Sheridan is not leaving though! As far as she is concerned, she has claimed rights to the abandoned trailer. And no matter how many times Kason tells her it was not abandoned, she does not believe him. Though she does start to feel bad for the seemingly down on his luck man.

However, Kason is far from down on his luck. A wealthy and successful baseball player for the Richmond Rogues, Kason has money coming out of his ears, but all he wants is privacy. Dayne is down on her luck though and she needs some help. Kason reluctantly becomes a part of Dayneís life, only to quickly realize she is starting to mean something to him. Kason has avoided entanglements for as long as he can. Dayne does not want a man in the spotlight. Their romance is rife with problems, but will these two find a solution?

Sliding Home is another romantic entry in Kate Angellís Richmond Rogues series. Kason proves to be an enigmatic character early in the story, but slowly starts to reveal himself to Dayne as their trust in each other grows. Kason is a hard nut to crack but Dayne gives it her all because she can see he is a man in need. They have an amusing relationship that involves dogs, Kasonís teammates, and Dayneís need to succeed on her own two feet.

Kate Angell gives readers a great character in Kason and Dayne proves to be his equal. This contemporary romance is sexy, sweet, and just spicy enough to keep the pages turning.
