After a horrific car accident, Grace Vaughn can no longer have children. Building a wall around her heart, she keeps the men she dates at arms length, never letting anyone get too close. But Jackson Hill is testing her resistance. Forced to work with him on a daily basis, Jackson is making no secret of his sexual attraction. When he challenges her to attend a three day conference with him in Sin City , Grace accepts, hoping she can keep her desires under control.
Jackson Hill has a good life; the only thing missing is the feisty blond who has captured his heart. Using the conference as a solution, Jackson has plans to tempt Grace into his bed. It’ll take some wicked manuvering on his part, but Jackson is determined to have Gracie where she belongs…
From the opening paragraph, Tempting Grace, draws you in and hooks into the storyline. It is a book I could not put down! Although only a short novella, Ms. Rainey does an excellent job of characterization with Grace and Jackson. Their relationship is one of fire and denial, yet underneath all the passion they have a deep seated respect and love for each other. Their sarcastic banter as they dance around each other is hilarious.
Grace is a feisty heroine who has been scarred by her past, yet she cannot resist the dominating, sexy Jackson . And to be honest, I don’t blame her! Jackson is hot, hot, hot. The progression of their relationship, however, seemed extremely natural – not forced or contrived.
Tempting Grace is a hot, spicy concoction that will tug on your heart strings and have you rooting for the two main characters to get together! The sex scenes are wicked enough to heat up even the coolest of hearts. The only complaint I have is the book just wasn’t long enough. It’s intrigued me enough to want to read the other books in the Vaughn series. If you are an erotic romance lover, you’ll definitely want to read Tempting Grace. Well worth the 5 rose rating!
