Debbie Macomberís enchanting Cedar Cover series continues on with the latest entry 311 Pelican Court. Those who have fallen in love with the people of Cedar Cove will not be disappointed with this latest installment.
311 Pelican Court brings the reader up to date in the lives of the many varied residents of Cedar Cove. The primary focus is however on two couples; Zach and Rosie Cox, and Maryellen Sherman and Jon Bowman.
The Cox family is having to learn to deal with life as a divorced family, while Maryellen and Jon are having to learn to share joint custody of their infant daughter. Both families face issues that many readers must surely face in every day life. The way they deal with these issues is often frustrating, sometimes fruitful, but always realistic in my opinion.
The mystery man who stayed and died at the Thyme and Tide Bed and Breakfast owned by the Beldons is also revisited in this book. His death is further explored in 311 Pelican Court and brings up some interesting questions. To find out if his name or cause of death is revealed youíll have to read for yourself.
As the book reached itís conclusion I as a reader was left with a satisfied feeling that I didnít experience when I read the end of 204 Rosewood Lane. Iím very much looking forward to the next installment 44 Cranberry Point. I realize that every series must come to an end, but hopefully Ms. Macomber will continue her Cedar Cove series for many books to come.
