Sydney Webster would never in a million years think she could find herself living on a coastal island, but here she is, on Cedar Key, Florida. Circumstance has driven her to this small community. The revelation that her late husband had a gambling addiction and outstanding debts have changed everything. With her money gone, she has no where else to turn.

Her friend Ali suggests that she turn her hobby, spinning wool and knitting into a business and open a shop. With the tourist trades and the internet, she could make some money. Sydney balks at the idea, but with nothing but time on her hands and very limited financial resources, she warms up to the idea.

Like any small town, there are people who don't like newcomers honing in on their livelihood. There are also secrets in a small town, some which will impact Sydney, who does not know about them. Can a born and bred New Englander find peace outside of her normal comfort zone?

I enjoyed this debut novel by a promising author. Terri DuLong writes with her heart. Her characters are put in situations due to other people's choices and they learn to move on and forgive these same people. The friendships formed will held together forever by a simple word: Love. Don't miss this wonderful, easy flowing book.
