Everyone deserves a second chance, right? A sort of do-over to right a wrong, in the novel Heaven In Your Eyes Tom McAllister gets that chance.
Can you believe that a few years ago Anne McAllister lead a boring life? After leaving her past behind, she pursues her dream of law enforcement, Annie`s new life is anything but boring. Her first real assignment is to guard a mafia informant, but Dominic Viglioni is not what he seems. In fact he is one Andrew Falcone an undercover Marshal who is on assignment to sniff out some rogue agents.
Now on the run from the mafia and people Annie trusted, she founds herself confused and a little more then attracted to Andrew Falcone. Something about the Marshal doesnít add up, he knows intimate things about Annie that she has only shared with one man.
Ms. McCoy brings the perfect mixture of humor, suspense, and some steamy between the sheets action. Andrew is drop dead gorgeous and has a body to die for, and on top of that, he is so sweet and tender taking care of Annie and trying to keep her safe. Annie on the other hand had to grow on me, in the start of the novel she is in a relationship that was beneath her. Her husband was a little on the controlling side and she let him, thinking she could somehow change his ways with counseling. After his death she has the chance to gain the independence she has always wanted and pursues her dreams. I came to truly respect and like her after we got to know the new Annie. If you are in the mood for a fun read with a little suspense then this is the book for you. Iím eagerly anticipating the release of the follow-up novel Heaven Sent.
