Mary Burton is a master writer in her story telling and Dying Scream is a book filled with drama and her talent for writing about a serial killer. Itís a book that will keep you awake at night to finish for you want or need to know who is killing and why.

Adrianna Thornton has to sell her family home. Her husband was in a car crash and lived in a vegetative state for several years. There isnít any more money and she has no choice - for her only option is to sell the historic estate to a developer in order to pay the debt that has been building up for years Ė and a lot of them too. The one thing the investors ask is that she move the family graves that are on the property. The community is not happy with Adriannaís decision, but it is her only option.

When bodies are being uncovered that are not part of the family plots and the only person who knew all the unidentified bodies was her deceased husband, Craig. And now the questions start.

When Adriannaís sexy looking former boyfriend - Detective Gage Hudson - shows up to investigate, the suspicion about Craig turns up the suspense. Is the person who killed these ladies still alive? How are they connected to Craig? Will Gage be able to protect Adrianna?

Also - who is the one sending her flowers and cards at her doorstep? Even more strange is that the cards and flowers are signed by her dead husband. Will the killer make Adrianna his next victim and listen to her Dying Scream?

This is a must read! I would make sure you put the time aside so that you can finish this book. You will enjoy each surprise, turn and twist as you read this book.
