If the Slipper Fits, is a warm, pull-at-your-heartstrings story of second chance love.

Do you believe fairy tales really exist? Anne Sayer can definitely tell you that they don’t exist. Eleven years ago Connor Emory was the “prince charming” of a very wealthy family, and Anne was considered the “hired help,” for a young Anne one unforgettable summer was shattered by Connor’s “evil stepmother.”

After all these years Connor has never truly known why Anne broke his heart, he is sure it was for the best as he feels Anne would not have liked his world much. As the heir to the family country home, he returns there with one reason in mind to sell; Anne is not giving up without a fight she is no longer the scared young girl who was so easily intimidated by all the prestige and wealth. Is Anne’s new confidence enough to make Connor want to hold on to Sea Bluff? Maybe a enough to make him to hold onto her again?

Ms.Fox has outdone herself with this delightful modern-day Cinderella tale. The sort of awkward young woman becoming this beautiful confident woman that the prince is so drawn to that he can’t seem to think straight. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out why Anne would so easily give Connor up without a fight, and when the truth is revealed Connor handled it so badly I just wanted to smack some sense into him. This was such a delightful tale with a surprise twist at the end that readers will not see coming but enjoy very much.
