Having been rescued from imprisonment by his loved ones upyr Edmund Fitz Clare is left with unstable powers and an unshakable sense of betrayal by his adoptive son and fiancťe. Edmund must stay behind as his family heads into danger when they get word that Edmundís captors have been spotted in America continuing their quest to gain power. Disturbed by the growing chasm between herself and her fiancť, Edmund, Estelle will turn to an unexpected source for help in mending their relationship.

Graham and his family race to America to stop his fatherís captors after being notified by his perplexing lover, Pen, that his fatherís captors are now in America and have attacked her. Graham will do all in his power to prevent these rogue upyrís from becoming unstoppable, and for daring to use him to harm his father, and for endangering all the people he loves.

Saving Midnight was a great conclusion to this wonderful series. Reading about the hard time that Edmund and Estelle experience as he comes to term with his feelings of being helpless, and of betrayal is heart breaking. The intensity of Graham and Penís relationship is smoking and Grahamís perplexity over Penís attraction made me smile. Emma Holly is a wonderful writer who always manages to capture ones attention from beginning to end as well as create some positively sinful scenes that can leave one breathless. Novels need only have Emma Hollyís name on them to make them a must read and I am always eagerly awaiting her next tantalizing novel.
