Now, that the kids are back to school, and hopefully settled into a routine itís time to take a few hours to pamper yourself. What better way to do that than to lose yourself if the small town of Cedar Cove with the latest installment 92 Pacific Boulevard.
Sheriff Troy Davis has his hands full with the discovery of a skeleton that belongs to a young male that has been dead for many years. The media wants to make a huge story of the discovery, and the mayor of the town is worried that any story will hurt tourism in Cedar Cove. Itís up to Troy to figure out a way to discover the identity and allow for proper burial while not allowing the media to make it a story which scares off the tourists.
Along with the mysterious remains Troy also has to deal with his feelings for Faith a one time high school girl friend, and the woman he is in love with. Faith currently has problems of her own. The home she is renting has been burglarized and if that wasnít bad enough the person responsible seems to be looking for something, and keeps returning, and vandalizing her home as they search. Faith is close to her breaking point and is seriously considering leaving Cedar Cove.
While Troy and Faith are the main characters featured in 92 Pacific Boulevard readers are treated to plenty of story time with other favorite characters. I believe that readers will be more than satisfied with all the updates offered by Ms. Macomber, and the lead in to the next title in the series, 1022 Evergreen Place.
