15 years ago, Declyn Blaine coerced his pregnant daughter to tell the perfect lie, one so flawless that it could never be found out.

Jonah Slade had fallen head over heels for Felicity Blaine, and when he found out she was going to have his baby, he wanted to get married. But the weak, status-aware Felicity bowed under her fatherís pushing and lied to Jonah.

Heartsick, Jonah began his dangerous career in the CIA and took his most dangerous assignment yet. Going undercover in Colombia in the ranks of a drug emperor and the making of a mistake that could cost him the life of the son he never knew he had.

Now that son has been kidnapped by the people of the drug lord that Johan imprisoned and Macie Blaine has shown up at his doorstep to ask for his help in finding the son he thought had died before it was born.

Amidst feelings of betrayal and hatred for Declyn Blaine, Jonah agrees to help Macie find Evan, as long as she agrees to let Jonah be a part of Evanís life once heís home. Macie agrees and they begin the long quest to find Evan and the battle against the fierce desire that sparks between them even as they begin to question loyalties of their dearest friends.

The Perfect Lie was well, perfect. Jonah was the alpha-male Iíve been waiting for Dinah McCall to write and Macie is his perfect match. Both are rebels with strong senses of duty and yet still retain a uniqueness thatís indescribably wonderful. The story, characters and dialogue come together in startling realism that took my breath away and left me begging for more.

I not only recommend it, I suggest you go to your store and get it now!
