The third installment of The Bad Girls Club takes that classic movie “To Catch a Thief” and gives it a little twist. In Red Hot & Reckless, sultry Nicole Bennett is the thief - but not your ordinary thief. Nicole shies away from the typical burglary, choosing to pit her skills against other thieves. She prefers finesse over strong-arm tactics, and appreciates a well-planned heist. When her instincts tell her that she is being hunted, she immediately plots her strategy, but is unprepared for Alex Cassavetes’ effect on her libido. The sexy insurance investigator has his own reasons for tailing Nicole - the least of which is the way she looks in a tight skirt!

This story sizzles with passion and the thrill of the chase. Both lead characters are appealing and the author knows how to build up a good steamy love scene. Add a dose of suspense, some family dynamics and an evil master thief, and the story is off and running. None of the secondary elements overpower the strong romance, but add the necessary dimensions to keep the reader intrigued.

The story continues to entertain right up to the final chapter, with more cinematic references that bring all of the pieces together. A savvy reader can even spot another possible story in the making. While this was supposed to be a three-book series, the authors have already confirmed that they are interested in adding to the set, since they had so much fun collaborating. And when an author has fun, the reader reaps the benefits of a spicy story like Red Hot & Reckless.
