Gabrielle has deep feelings for her boss, Brendan, in fact she has a major crush on him and she has started to take the images of her favorite romance heroes and placed him in their spot. She also has one of the best jobs for her addiction to romance novels, a bookstore. The only problem is Brendan has a girlfriend.

Brendan is having problems in his relationship with his girlfriend, so he comes to Gabrielle because she is always reading a romance novel. He wants advice, so she puts sticky notes in several of her favorite books for him to look over. Well letís just say that the books are no help and he comes back for more. And boy, does he get some help and sort of an awakening at the same time.

Iíll Take Mine In A Kilt is a wonderful, delightful and funny read. Ms. Johnson has done it once again with this short story. As you can image from the title of the story, it has to do with the men in kilts, the men that most of us, historical romance readers love, a Scotsman.
