The Nauti series continues, and is better than ever. The heroine of this story is Janey Mackay, Natches younger sister, while the hero is Major Alex Jansen, a character we’ve met previously. Nathces still thinks of Janey as a little girl who needs his protection and that is last thing he wants is to see her hurt by any man.

Now that her father is dead, Janey is free to try and live her life. Unfortunately people seem all to willing to blame her for the sins of her father. Threatening letters indicate someone hates her more than most, and is willing to kill her if she doesn’t leave town.

Alex Jansen has been watching over Janey for years as a favor to her brother. Despite their fourteen year age difference, he feels very drawn to twenty-four year old Janey – and not in a platonic way. When he learns of the letters she’s been receiving, he insists on staying with her at night, despite her insistence that she can take care of herself.

Spending so much time together forces both of them to confront their feelings. But Janey has lived her entire live without love, and no matter her feelings for Alex, she refuses to settle for less than she deserves.

This fourth book in the Nauti series is a true treat. Mackays from all the previous books are present and an integral part of this story. And this book is especially appealing as so much of the story focuses on Janey and Alex themselves. Like the previous books in the series, there are plenty of love scenes and they are HOT! Warning: One of the scenes involves anal sex and light spanking.
