Mrs. Phillippa Benning is the toast of the English Ton. She is beautiful, rich, stylish, and a widow, which gives her an edge over the innocent simpering debutantes. Since the death of her husband, five blissful days of matrimony, she has been free to do and be whatever she wanted and nothing could ruin that for her until she meets a certain young man who would change her perspective on life forever.

Enter Marcus Worth, tall, pretty eyes and nothing really special until Phillippa believes she has discovered his secret identity, the Blue Raven (a notorious spy that helped England win the war against Napoleon Bonaparte). He asks for her help to get into the most exclusive parties of the Ton to keep the aristocrats of England safe and detour another war. She agrees so she can reveal his identity at the final party of the season, hers. They strike the deal and sparks fly. The danger that surrounds their relationship is thrilling and causes a love beyond measure to bloom between them.

I have to admit, I did not like the character Phillippa Benning when I first began reading this book. However, she evolved as I continued and man did she evolve!!! Kate Noble has written a story with intrigue, love, and the characters really start off being one way and change as the story begins to unravel. Audience, you will really like this book. Once you really start reading, it will be very difficult for you to put it down. Kate Noble, good job. Write me another to read.
