Tyler is the youngest of the Creed brothers, but he seems to be the most stubborn and impulsive of the three. He has been estranged from his brothers since their abusive father's death. Now Tyler has decided to return home to Stillwater Springs, Montana, leaving the rodeo circuit behind. On the way home, Tyler trades his luxury vehicle for a "junker" with a total stranger.
When Tyler arrives in Stillwater Springs, he realizes he will have to deal with his past in more ways than he anticipated. Lily Kenyon was his long ago girlfriend, but he lost her when he gave into the temptation of a fling with an older woman. Lily had left town herself years ago, but has returned to help her father, the town vet, as he recovers from a serious heart attack. Lily is a widow and a single mother now and not sure if she will go back to her career in a large city or give her daughter a small town life.
Lily is a strong, competent woman and has had to deal with her own share of family dysfunction. She loved Tyler when she was young and has never forgotten him, but can she trust him with her heart?
Tyler is all man, but has a tender heart. He has had to deal with tragedy and grief since he was a child. He feels a renewed love for Lily, but will his past indiscretions pull them apart?
Montana Creeds: Tyler is the third in Linda Lael Miller's thrilling trilogy. She works in Dylan's and Logan's stories in this current novel. The reader will want to read all three books to get the full measure of enjoyment these charming cowboys provide. I am thrilled to see that Ms. Miller has a new Stone Creek book coming out in August 2009, The Bridegroom . As long as she writes Western tales, I will be reading them.
