Buried Treasure!!! At least that is what Ms. Daisy Drake and Lucian Beaumont, Viscount Rutland is trying to find. As children they played swords in a play. She accidentally scarred his chin, and his family hastily left never to hear from him again until years later.

Daisy was looking for excitement in her life. She was tired of being a spinster at the ripe old age of twenty-one, and it was time for her to take control of her life and pursue an adventure. Lucian had just what she was looking for. He held all of the evidence to locate a long lost Roman treasure, but he does not want Daisy Drake to have a hand in it at all, until she disguised herself as a world famous French paramour. She promises to teach him pleasures of the flesh; in exchange she would be his business partner. Daisy is an innocent, but she learns a lot reading the personal memoirs of the popular courtesan. Night after passionate night, they discover pleasures beyond their hottest fantasies.

Vexing the Viscount is witty and as well as enticing. Daisy Drake is funny and highly intelligent in a world where intelligence is not prized among women. She is laughably stubborn and a breath of fresh air from the average romance novel heroine. Lucian is strength, beauty, and sensitivity rolled up into the ideal man. Ms. Bryan creates an adventurous, romance that will keep you turning the pages.
