Popular Harlequin author Eugenia Riley takes a sultry look at romance in The Boy Toy. Allison Tracy has “had it” with controlling men who are only interested in their own agendas. Why does it have to be so complicated? When her friends suggest that she needs a “boy toy” for a temporary fling, she laughs it off. But what if they have the right idea?

Sexy Pete Chisolm sure fits the description. Lean and lanky, with a love-em-and-leave-em charm, Pete’s flirtatious nature appeals to Allison’s wild side. Since neither one of them have a “real” relationship in mind, his occupation as an auto mechanic doesn’t present any problems for the blue-blooded Allison. In fact, it just adds to his uncomplicated appeal. As their flirtation detonates into full-blown sexual meltdown, they both discover that having a “boy toy” may be the most complicated relationship of all.

With all of the steam rising out of this book, it is a wonder that the pages aren’t curled! This couple sizzles from first meeting right through to the last page. And if that was not enough, Ms. Riley has added some additional plots that bring depth to the story. It is a truly enjoyable read, and I hope that she has plans for more Blazes in the future.
