He is odd, they say, a recluse, seen rarely in polite company. He has adopted strange, Eastern ways, and shuns balls and parties whenever possible. He is wealthy, handsome, eligible and unattainable. He is Christian Rothwell, Marquess of Easterbrook

When a woman from his past arrives in London, Christian knows why she has come. The time they spent together in Macao left them both unsettled. Now Leona Montgomery has come to England to secure contacts for her family business. She has no idea that she has a powerful ally. The young man she knew as Edward does not exist. He is Easterbrook

Author Madeline Hunter has tantalized readers with glimpses of this enigmatic nobleman for the past few books. Christian has been a benevolent if somewhat unusual head of the family, as each of his brothers have found their soul mates. It is only fitting that his own love had to come from the far corners of the globe.

There are sparks a plenty when Leona and Christian meet again after so many years. There are plenty of unanswered questions, and mysterious riddles to solve before they find happiness. Leona’s presence has opened a Pandora’s box and she becomes a target Christian must protect. Readers will be compelled to keep reading as the danger intensifies.

The Sins of Lord Easterbrook is a fitting finale to the Rothwell series of novels. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Hunter has planned next.
