TGP agent Elle Gray may look like a supermodel but when you can kill a man with your bare hands, shoot from incredible distances with accuracy and have an IQ off the charts, it comes in handy to keep the bad guys unbalanced. Sent to protect a top secret project, she meets Dr. Beau Ruston, the project manager, and a sexy eye-full. The particles are charged when the two of them are in the same room. Elle and Beau are thinking about more than thermodynamics and espionage. It soon becomes more of a burden to keep her cover when the two of them start some private experiments.
Beau is aware Elle is a government agent but he hates to be spied on or deceived. Being attracted to the spy is inconvenient but undeniable. Together they will have to protect his project and flush out the would-be thieves. His only problem will be finding a way to let Elle go when it all ends.
A fun, fast paced romance with likable characters, The Spy Who Wants Me is a winner from beginning to end. Right from the start Elle is obviously a woman not to be messed with when she is working but she is also a vulnerable woman who has lost at love before. Beau has also known his share of heartache and vulnerability and it makes him a more appealing character because of it. This third book in The Goddard Project series is a wonderful addition to a charming library of work from Lucy Monroe.
