As the holiday season begins to swing into high gear what better way to relax than with a good book? As you stroll through the bookstore aisle or your online site of choice you’ll decide to choose Unravel Me by Christie Ridgeway.

In Unravel Me Ms. Ridgeway returns to Mailbu California and introduces us to the young widow Juliet Weston. Juilet first met her deceased husband as a young girl, and knew that somehow someday they would marry.

What she didn’t expect was that Wayne and she wouldn’t have a long happy life together. His illness was long and he protected her from the ravages as best he could and to that end entrusted her care to an enlisted man who was once under his command, Noah.

Juliet and Noah now have to find their way after the death of Wayne, a man they both loved and respected. Whether or not they can each get past their hurdles and find a relationship together makes for a good story.

When you knit that with the developing relationship that Juliet has with Cassandra, a knitting shop owner, and Nikki, a private chef you have a story that will keep you feeling relaxed during this hectic time of year.

While Unravel Me is the second book in a series about the sisters and their rather unique conception it also stands alone quite well. I look forward to the final book in the series which is titled Dirty Sexy Knitting.
