L.L. Foster's, Servant The Acceptance is the second book in the series but you do not have to read the first to be able to enjoy this book. L.L. Foster also known as Lori Foster once again lets us see just how talented she is.

Gabrielle Cody is a paladin - one who serves God by slaying demons and removing the bad that she sees from this earth. She is twenty one and very street smart but hasnít ever really known love. Not only is she protecting strangers but she is now protecting prostitutes from the Johns or Pimps who decide to get more than what they paid for. How we see people and how she sees the evil are quite different, but will she be able to protect those that are most important to her?

Detective Luther Cross wants Gaby more than she knows, and has been searching for her for sometime. He eventually does find her - but will he accept her for whom and what she does? He may want her, but also knows she is very innocent. All he can think about is her and where she is or where she could be.

Will these two be in danger? If so, can Gaby save her own life as well as Lutherís? Do the two of them being together cloud Gabyís intuition and hurt them in the end? Will Gaby realize she has friends and that they actually love her? What happens when she finds out the one person who she thought was dead is really alive and well?

I cannot wait to read the next is the series but am happy to know that each of these books donít need the other to be able to follow each and every word. This is a must have book for I know I will be adding this one to my collection.
