Toni Davis may be in over her head with her new job. Although, she must admit working with sexy highlanders has its benefits. The problem is...theyíre all dead.

When Toniís friend is attacked by vampires and tells the cops about it, she is put in a mental institution. Now Toni has taken it upon herself to prove vampires truly exist. Itís the way she will get her friend released. In her quest, Toni is attacked as well. Lucky for Toni, vampire Connor saves her from the Malcontents and offers her a job as a daytime bodyguard. It is the opportunity for which she has been waiting. Gain access to the enemyís camp and gather the evidence she needs. A simple plan easily executed, or so Toni thought. She didnít prepare for one Ian MacPhie.

Ian was turned vampire when he was fifteen years old. For five hundred years he endured looking like a teenager. That made things difficult in the romance department. Ian drinks Romanís Stay-Awake formula for twelve days thus aging twelve years. Now he looks like a twenty-seven year old and he is ready to find the woman of his dreams. He joins an online dating service in hopes of finding Miss Right. After meeting Toni Ian finds all other women lacking. The trouble with Toni is that she is mortal. In order to spend the rest of his ílifeí with someone she will have to be vampire, too. In addition, Ian thinks there is something suspicious about Toni. Something she is keeping from all of them.

Ms. Sparks has done it again. All I Want for Christmas is a Vampire is a sweet, funny romance and a wonderful must-read for fans of the series. Ian is an irresistible hero and a perfect match for Toni. The two have real chemistry which can be felt throughout the story. There is danger involved and Toni must make a choice. Fans will be cheering for love to save the day.

All I Want for Christmas is a Vampire is book number five in Kerrelyn Sparksí Love at Stake series. This book has returning characters but the story itself may be read alone and still enjoyed. I, however, recommend reading the entire series.
