Simply The Best by Shirley Jump is a passionate story that allows us see two people who are so blind by the possibility that they could love each other. They both have two different ideas of how they want there lives to be and having each other as best friends is very important to them. They do not want sex to be the end of their beautiful friendship that they have had since first grade.
When Alexandra Kenner finds out her latest boyfriend is married she must find another place to live. Moving in with Grandma is out of the question for there is no way she can pass as a senior citizen. While visiting her Grandma she learns that she has a home but it needs some extreme fixing up. Not only will it be a nice home for her it may heal some old hurts that are in her past. This home was once her Motherís and sisterís home too.

I loved this book and could not put it down. There are other characters that help them see things can work. The title Simply The Best fits the book all the way. It is one of her best if you ask me. I LOVED IT!
