Braden Lowder is out of jail and trying to rebuild his life. He knows that the past is just what it is - the past. But will he be able to let it all go? He has spent time in prison after being convicted for involuntary manslaughter and is now home. He left town with no explanation to his former lover, Trisha Reilly, ten years ago. Why did Braden leave so suddenly?
Trisha has to return to her Midwestern hometown to bury her aunt and settle things there. She does not want to return to the past and face the ghosts that lie there. She is hoping to not see Braden but within days of returning she has no choice - for in order to see her best friend, Jennifer, she may run into Braden. While visiting Jennifer, she begs Trisha to help her and her mother. Braden received an anonymous letter stating he did not kill Dr. Cransten. If not, who did and would Trisha please look into it? She works for one of the best P.I. and her boss does have some connections, but will they be able to help? What will Braden say when he finds out?
What Uncharted Depths will these two have to go to prove Braden was framed? Will they become involved again and what may it cost them? How much of Bradenís past will he have to tell Trisha? Do they still love each other?
I enjoy this book very much. Taylor Nash has a way of making you see the tropical island that they must search out in order to find out the truth. I would recommend Uncharted Depths for it is very enjoyable love story with some mystery thrown in. Also, the truth is not discovered until it is necessary which makes you turn the pages until the end. ENJOY! I did!!
