The writing team of Lori and Tony Karayianni, a.k.a. Tori Carrington, have wrapped up their Legal Briefs miniseries with a winner. Going Too Far is just what Ian Kilborn has in mind when he decides to act on his attraction to fellow lawyer Marie Bertelli.

Marie has been putting in long hours on a difficult case, which has left her social life empty. To make matters worse, her large Italian family has a habit of scaring off any would-be suitors. She decides that the only way she is going to get any action is to proposition the next man that comes along.

The sparks really fly between these two lovers, with fiery temperaments and legal egos to add to the mix. When Marie’s dad asks Ian to represent him on a case, her competitive nature demands to know the details - even if it means coercing them out of Ian with all her sexual weaponry.

Going Too Far also delivers the right amount of plot to keep the reader interested outside of the romantic developments. Is Mr. Bertelli really a member of the Mafia? I guess you will have to read Going Too Far to find out!
