Navy SEAL Nathan Malone’s mission was supposed to be a cut and dried rescue operation. All he had to do was rescue three young girls from a Colombian drug cartel and let himself be captured long enough to identify a government spy. Then the mission went terribly wrong and Nathan was considered dead. Leaving his young wife Bella to grieve and find a way to live without him.

Bella has mourned for Nathan for three long heart-breaking years. She clawed her way out of the darkness of her pain to rebuild her life and save the business her husband built. She has no idea that Nathan is alive – a changed man but he is alive. There are a lot of secrets in Bella’s hometown and some of them could get her killed. And Nathan is the only one who can save her from the danger that surrounds her. Will Bella be able to accept the man Nathan has become and what he has done to survive?

Wild Card is an evocative, powerful novel of enduring strength, love and redemption. I could not put Nathan and Bella’s story away. If this is what we can expect from the rest of the The Elite Operations books then we’re gonna need a hell of a lot of tissues...and batteries cause these guys are smokin’ hotties.

Enjoy!
