Another wallflower takes the stage in Lisa Kleypas’ new Christmas treat.

Miss Hannah Appleton is the companion for her beautiful cousin, Natalie. As such, she has been entrusted with the direst of missions: to find out what American Rafe Bowman is like, and to see if he will suit Natalie as a husband.

Rafe is a cad, a rake, and all too irresistible, even for Hannah. She knows he is not the best match for Natalie. An incendiary kiss between Rafe and Hannah seals Hannah’s opinion of him. But when Hannah leaves with Natalie and her parents to Lord Westcliff’s country estate for Christmas, she is about to see that Rafe is more than the rake he presents himself as. This will be a Christmas full of surprises for Hannah and Rafe.

Rafe is one part rake and two parts lonely and in Hannah he meets someone to calm him and make him happy. Hannah has a good relationship with Natalie but she also longs for a home and family of her own. Rafe seems out of the question, but the more time they spend together, the more she sees he may just be the man for her.

Fans of Lisa Kleypas’ Wallflower series will truly enjoy this story. While the main focus is certainly on the blossoming feelings between Rafe and Hannah, there are several enticing glimpses of the married lives of the original wallflowers. From tree trimming to Christmas storytelling, this tender romance lives up to the magic of the holiday season. Love is certainly in the air.

A Wallflower Christmas is a warm and sexy holiday read. Lisa Kleypas has talent coming out of her fingertips.
