Confronted with the evidence, evidence that looks like him, Matt is left with a thirst for revenge. How could Jesse not make more effort to convince him of her pregnancy?
Jesse is determined to make amends with Matt, and with her family. She anticipates a rough battle of wills between herself and Nicole. With a troubled history she is determined to put behind her, will Jesse finally find her happily-ever-after?
Here is another book where your emotions become involved right away. Her relationship with young Gabe is a joy to read about. Here is a woman who found her place, her joy, and the strength she needed, through motherhood. Itís not her only happiness but it was a good starting point for Jesse. Family dynamics take center stage again, so be prepared for a showdown between these sisters.
Susan Mallery ends this series on a high note. Sweet Trouble touches the heart and the emotions with equal intensity.
