World’s End Island, Maine

Margred needed sex, and she needed it badly. A selkie, Margred was an immortal creature of the sea, which could shed her pelt, and take human form for when she wanted mortal men to satisfy her lust. Margred swam the depths of the ocean searching for a strong healthy human male specimen. Coming ashore on the remote island of World’s End Maine, Margred spotted the group of human teens being ticketed by the staid man in uniform. This was the one she needed! Margred could sense his sadness and pain, yet he also had a deep strength that made him the perfect choice for Margred.

Chief Caleb Hunter had returned to his tiny island community when his friend and mentor, Roy Miller had retired. Coming home was bittersweet for Caleb. Serving his country in Iraq had cost Caleb; due to his severe injuries he could no longer function in a large city’s police force. Lonely, in pain both mentally and physically, Caleb is drawn to the exotic woman that he finds on the beach after busting a group of kids. Caleb has an erotic night with Maggie but when she abruptly leaves without more then a few words, Caleb is bereft and mystified. Then a few weeks later Maggie turns up again, but this time she is a victim of a horrible crime. Beaten, in shock and crying about what was taken from her, Caleb’s detective instinct knows Margred is lying when she says she doesn't remember about the attack or who she is and where she is from. Giving her shelter at his family home, and finding her employment, Caleb vows to help Maggie. The evil that has taken human form among the locals and tourists waits to devour the Sea Witch, can Caleb save her?

A best seller arises from the depths of the sea and floats to the top of the romance/paranormal list! Sea Witch is enthralling, I couldn't put it down! Margred can be aloof and hard to sympathize with but that is explained by what she is. Caleb is the ultimate hero willing to sacrifice all not only for the good of his family, his country, and his hometown, but for the woman he loves. I look forward to the next chapter in this spectacular series.
