Casey McDaniels is a woman haunted by her past. Kidnapped by the boy she loved as a teenager, Casey now spends her days caring for her father who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and as a victims advocate for women who have been abused. When one of her friend’s is murdered, Casey becomes drawn into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with her friend’s alleged killer, Charles Gaitlin. Receiving strange drawings, dead presidents watching her house and unknown cars following her home is just the beginning.

While this is happening, Casey’s personal life takes a turn for the better. Two men, both attorney’s but complete opposites, are interested in dating her. First there is sophisticated Adam – a man her father would approve as husband material. Then there is Lincoln, the slightly dishevelled but a perfect second man in her life.

As Casey begins to fall in love, the threats toward her increase, making Casey question her own judgment and wonder if loving the wrong man will be her final mistake…

Don’t Turn Around is the explosive new romantic suspense from the very talented Hunter Morgan. With plot twists and turns, this thriller is guaranteed to keep you up all night reading. From the opening pages Ms. Morgan draws the reader into the world of gripping terror. Casey is one of my favourite literary heroines – strong, ballsy, yet with vulnerability about her that any professional woman can relate too. Her relationship with her father is extremely touching, and at times a mixture of hilarity and frustration. Hunter Morgan does not shy away from writing about such topics as Alzheimer’s and domestic abuse, yet they are both handled with such care and attention. The plot twists are certain to keep you guessing until the last few pages.

If you like your romantic suspense packed full of roller coaster twist and turns, tons of terror, a dash of humour and sophisticated romance, I implore you to pick up Don’t Turn Around. You won’t be disappointed!
