Leslie Kelly has once again written a book that lets us into the existence of two characters who have such chemistry that the book may throw off some steam while you are reading Slow Hands.

Society girl and sex queen Maddy Turner has just out-bid her stepmother and foiled her plans. The auction was for a charity bachelor so the money was going for a good cause as well as stopping her stepmother from cheating on her Dad.

Jake Wallace likes what he has seen before the auction and was very happy to know that the same woman had won the bid for him. Only problem is she left without setting up the date. Deborah, one of the ladies that helped set things up was able to help him with the information on how to contact Maddy. As far as Maddy is concerned she wants absolutely nothing to do with Jake. She knows he has a secret and she wants no part of his lifestyle or having him for a boy toy. Or does she? Jake has no idea why she thinks this, but will go along just so he can be with her…but he also plans on finding out why she thinks the way she does about him. It may takes some tormenting Slow Hands to find out but he is willing to do just that.

I enjoyed this book and I look forward to the next in the series. It’s a keeper for me and I hope you are able to find your copy for I know that they will be flying off the shelves fast.
