Grace Lamb is making changes in her life and there arenít any options for a Hot Date with anyone from her hometown. She will soon be divorced from someone she believed she loved. It is time to make changes in her life - and to find a career so she can stand on her own two feet with no help from anyone.

Upon entering town what else could happen but running into Nick Griffin, and when I say run into I mean with an old VW bus while he is in the police car. Nick is her brotherís best friend and she has followed them around when she was a kid. Nick has gotten her out of trouble many times, but she makes it very clear she will take care of herself. She wants no help from him, period!

While staying at Tobyís place, which also has an antique business, Grace talks him into going on a vacation whilst she takes care of business. While he is away a member of the mob comes looking for a very special antique that was promised to him by the former deceased owner. What will Grace do now? Will she be able to find the special antique or have trouble with the Mob? Will Nick step in and help out or make matters worse for Grace?

Will Grace be able to get Tobyís VW bus repaired and find what the Mob needs all on her own? Will she be able to stay in her hometown? Will there be a Hot Date with Nick Griffin? If so, how hot will it be? Will the Mob come knocking on the door? And what will Toby say when he gets back from his vacation?

This is a must read. You will find yourself laughing out loud at Grace and shaking your head for Nick. Amy Garvey lets us enjoy the insight of someone who feels she has amounted to nothing, when in fact she has done many things and is capable of more. I enjoyed the book and I am sure you will too.
