Catherine Mannís The Cinderella Mission is the first prequel to SIM new continuity series, Family Secrets. If the whole series is anything like Ms Mannís ferocious and exhilarating title, it has to be on my monthly shopping list.

I donít know how she does it, but right with the first few pages Ms Mann reveals her awesome talent for pulling her readers into stories that are truly breathtaking. No matter if itís with her Wingmen Warriors or her stand-alone titles, she delivers.

In this story of best friends becoming lovers while pretending to be a couple, Ethan Williams and Kelly Taylor, two CIA agents, are teamed up to discover the location of a missing in action fellow agent. For Kelly, a translator and deceptively innocent, itís her first assignment as field operative and for Ethan itís the chance to get hold of the files concerning his parents mysterious death.

Why Cinderella? Because Kelly needs to be transformed from innocent to high society lady to be believable as girlfriend of the very rich Ethan. And in order to accomplish it, privately and efficiently, she moves in with him and his aunt, an aunt that turns into an unlikely fairy godmother.

Catherine Mann is in perfect control of her story. Faced paced, but never leaving behind the reader. Character driven with enough danger and action to please any adrenaline junky. Thrilling with beautiful and tender moments where I felt the characters falling in love. Satisfying and addictive! I canít wait for Ms Mannís next release!
