Lila Moreau is almost fearless and one of the top spies for OPUS, an undercover agency that goes after a new generation of bad guys who often use computers to do their dirty work. Even with her top notch skills, Lila's first encounter with her new partner, Joel Faraday, does not quite go the way she planned.

Lila and Joel go undercover to catch Adrian Padgett, a former OPUS agent, who has an evil agenda to accumulate wealth and power by criminal means. Adrian is an "old school" spy so he has enlisted the help of some top college hackers for his schemes. Lila and Joel pose as graduate students to hunt down the talented hackers as well as Adrian whom is using an alias, of course. Will the attraction building between Lila and Joel distract them from the danger at hand?

Overnight Male is part of a romantic suspense series. I had the pleasure of reading and reviewing Express Male in the past and had no problems with jumping right into this new novel, thanks to Ms. Bevarly's highlighting of some of the back story. Both novels keep the reader turning the pages with taut suspense and great character interaction.

Lila is a tough, no nonsense woman, but she has come more in touch with her emotions after finding out she had family in the recent past. She tries to resist Joel, as she has with most partners, but there is something special about him. Joel is strong, too, but he can't resist Lila with her looks and strong personality.

Overnight Male has all you could want in a great book: non-stop action, romance and a surprising, but perfect ending. Ms. Bevarly has another hit on her hands.
