Victoria Alexander takes us again to Regency England with her newest story, “Her Highness, My Wife”.

Women have never said no to handsome Lord Matthew Weston and he never turned them down either. But, this is the first time he’s ever found a woman fascinating enough to actually marry. But when he awoke one morning, a few days after his marriage, he found that she had left. And when he later finds out that the woman he married was of royal blood, and that she would leave him without a note of explanation, the he vows to put her out of his life and thoughts for good.

Princess Tatiana Marguerite Nadia Pruzinsky of the Kingdom of Greater Avalonia, only wanted to be a ‘normal’ person for a week. When she met Matt at a hot air balloon exhibit, he was exciting and dashing and nothing like she’s ever known in her sheltered life. She took that chance and they had a wonderful time and got married, sort of, but Tatiana is a Princess, she has responsibilities and Matthew didn’t fit into those plans. Her country needs her to restore its fortune and to do that; she must leave Matthew without ever telling him who she really is. He would never understand.

Ms. Alexander writes another fantastic love story. One that has all the elements of a great romance: adventure, suspense, secrets and of course great love scenes. Matthew is a very strong yet vulnerable man and you really feel his pain at Tatiana leaving him. Tatiana has a very strong sense of self and responsibility, and takes her duties to her country very seriously. But, the love that they have found will endure though many hardships and an assassin that’s been sent to stop her from finding the fortune that will restore dignity to her country.

This will be a great addition to your romance library. Happy reading!!!
